In memory
We have all been very shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Simon Triggs.
Simon and Jules moved along with their children Thomas and Mila into The Old Jorrocks over ten years
ago and they quickly made many friends in the village.
Always friendly, chatting in the pub or walking his dogs Betty, Sam & Jessie, Simon would stop and talk
to everyone. He had a sense of adventure and a contagious enthusiasm for many things from interior
design to naval history, passionate about his garden, antiques and his beloved ‘Bongo’ van which he used
to transport kite boards and kayaks for his many adventures at sea.
Photo by Chris Hill Most of all Simon loved his family, and recently he’d been so very proud of Thomas and Mila getting to
Cranbrook School, both of them will be starting in September.
Simon was such a character and will be so greatly missed by us all.
We welcome your submissions to frittendenparishmagazine@gmail.com – a poem, prayer, Jules wants to thank everyone in this amazing village for their overwhelming love and support.
