Thanks from the

Haduma Choir

Mr Gomegwa from the town of Nzega in
Tanzania has asked me to pass on thanks
to everyone who donated money for his
choir to purchase musical instruments.

Mr Gomegwa had been made the Patron
of the Choir and had turned to the
congregation of St Mary’s Church in
Frittenden, which he had visited back in
2015, to ask for support for his choir, the
Huduma Choir at the Pentecost Church
in Nzega. The very generous congregation
of St Mary’s Church donated £350, or
1,050,000 Tanzanian shillings, and I
was able to transfer this directly to Mr
Gomegwa. The choir decided to purchase
speakers with this money and one of
them travelled to Mwanza to make these
purchases. Mr Gomegwa and the choir
are so very grateful to have been able to
do this. Mr Gomegwa has written to Rev
Pete Deaves to pass on sincere thanks from
himself, the Pastor, the Huduma Choir and
the congregation of the Pentecost Church.
Mr Gomegwa has now sent me photos of
the speakers; one is of the speakers being
received outside the church and the other
is of the Pastor blessing the speakers in
the church.
I too pass on my sincere thanks to all who
donated to the Huduma Choir in Tanzania.
